Chitwan Valley Family Study: Changing Social Contexts and Family Formation, Nepal, 1995-2019 has new data!

The Chitwan Valley Family Study: Changing Social Contexts and Family Formation, Nepal, 1995-2019 (ICPSR 4538) has been updated with 14 new restricted-use datasets.

     DS50: 2019 School Management Committee Survey Data, Restricted-Use
     DS51: 2019 Parent Teacher Association Survey Data, Restricted-Use
     DS52: 2019 Basic Level Examination Score Data, Restricted-Use
     DS53: 2019 Classroom Observation Data, Restricted-Use

The study was designed to investigate the influence of changing social contexts on family formation behaviors, marriage, childbearing, and contraceptive use. The research investigates the extent to which changes in the community produce changes in family formation behavior, and whether the family organization of individual life courses produces these changes in behavior.
